All figures are long-term averages from third-party datasets and are provided for planning purposes. They are not forecasts, safety advice or guarantees of conditions, facilities or access. Always follow local signage, lifeguards and authorities.

Data licences and attribution

• OpenStreetMap data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
• Wikidata content is CC0. Wikipedia excerpts are CC BY-SA 4.0 and attributed where quoted.
• Photos come from Wikimedia Commons; the author and licence are shown under each image and apply to that image.
• GeoNames data is CC BY 4.0. NASA POWER, NOAA OISST and OurAirports data are in the public domain.

Our compilation

The page texts, calculations (such as the beach-day index) and site design are ours. You may quote individual figures with a link to the page they come from.
